Emergency Power for Electricaly Operated Slide Doors Retrofit Kit:
 
This UPS System will provide 120VAC Backup Power during a power outage and will keep a Therm L Tec Horizontal Slide Door Operational for up to 6 hours.
 
The overall time for available backup depends on the amount of cycles the door is operated and the general state of the internal Battery of the UPS.
The system was designed to provide the customer with 20 full opening / closing cycles in a 4 hour power outage situation.
 
The UPS can be setup to close a door for a last time before the unit goes into self-shutoff due to low Battery Remaining Power.
 
It will take app 24 hours for the UPS to fully charge a empty Battery after Utility Power is restored.
 
The Battery should be replaced at least every 5 years (factory recommended) or earlier if the UPS indicates Battery Replacement.
 
The sliceable Battery can easily be removed and reinstalled.
 
Power Connections and Requirements:
Power: 120VAC 10 Amps UL Branch Circuit
Connection:
Input: 16ga wire, L, N and Green ( From Breaker Panel or Outlet )
Output: 16ga wire, L, N and Green ( to Door Operator )
 
UPS is Panel mounted in a NEMA 4x Fiberglass Box

Optional Emergency Door Flood Light:
For facilities we provide a low power 20 Watt 120 VAC LED Flood Light which can be wired in and be actuated with the Relay Out puts of the UPS (On Battery Power).
This option is recommended in facilities which do not have Emergency Lighting installed in the building or Cooler / Freezer.
We recommend two Flood Lights, one for each side of the door opening.
 
Two Flood Lights and 20 Cycle Operation will reduce the available Battery Power to 35 minutes to 1 hour!
